when I click on the number on the pdf, it shows me that specific Part on Word, or on the pdf document in case I merge the 2 documents as a single pdf document). SO after that I would (manually) link each circled number on the pdf with its corresponding one on Word. 1), in a Word document (as numbered list) and next to it I would type explanations etc. and THEN I would use that number as a reference, I would put that number (for ex. What I want to do (as I explained in the question) is marking specific lines of the pdf document with the numbered circle/rectangle. Is something like this available? (I don't even know if it is technically possible because it involves Word software!). You said that for 150$ I am able to download all other tools for Acrobat! What kind of other tools are available? doing it all manually will last hours and hours). The goal is to save time as much as I can during that process, considering that my textbooks and Word documents will be huge. (Note: by "automatically" I also mean using Keyboard shortcuts. IF YOU HAVE any suggestion to link "automatically" (while creating them) a circled number to its correspondant on my opened Word document it would be appreciated. So I would use Acrobat as pdf reader and Word to type all my notes. I am a student and I find it very easy to study in this way: reading the textbook (pdf file) and where I want to give more explanation I put next a circled number and on a paper I indicate that number and write down how much I want. Is there any way (a "Macro" tool or whatever) so I can click somewhere on a page and number 1 is added, I click on another part and number 2 (in a circle/rectangle) is added automatically without inserting manually each time? (it will save me A LOT of time since I have to do it very frequently). The nearest thing I found is Tool -> Comment -> Add Text Box, in which I insert manually the number. What I am looking for is an efficient (and very quick) way to add numbered circles in any part of a pdf document.
